Tonight is the last home game of October for the New Jersey Devils. It's a Sunday night game in the fall against Anaheim. Then it's off to Western Canada for three games.

The song of the evening: I'm not particularly into deathcore, but I know some impressive heavy music that needs to be shared when I hear it. Blake Mullens is fantastically talented. His group Disembodied Tyrant recently released their first EP. At the beginning of the year he announced a separation from Synestia The Poetic Edda. It's definitely high quality symphonic deathcore. Yes, symphonic. The first track, “Death Empress,” will delight you with its sheer grit and inventiveness.
