National Tight Ends Day was celebrated in the NFL on Sunday. At the start of Week 8, tight ends from across the league gathered to celebrate National Tight Ends Day.

Travis Kelce, Tucker Kraft, David Njoku, Cade Otton, Kyle Pitts, Dalton Kincaid, Sam LaPorta, Brock Wright, Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins, Tyler Conklin, Mark Andrews and Evan Engram all found the end zone on Sunday.

In the finale of National Tight Ends Day, George Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers took the stage against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

In the second half, Kittle got on the board to celebrate National Tight Ends Day. Kittle caught a two-yard pass from Brock Purdy and officially landed on the field for a touchdown. While flags were initially thrown for offensive pass interference after a Chris Conley pick to give Kittle the lead, the referees picked up the flags and waived the penalty to keep the score.
