Georgia football rises in rankings after Texas win in latest AP poll

The Georgia Bulldogs have risen in the rankings following Texas' win in the latest AP poll.

It was another big college football weekend with two big matchups in the SEC. The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the previously undefeated Texas Longhorns on the road with a final score of 30-15. The Tennessee Volunteers handed the Alabama Crimson Tide their second loss of the season at Neyland Stadium. These two games alone caused quite a stir in the rankings.

Other big news in college was Miami surviving the Louisville Cardinals, Oregon facing Purdue earlier in the week, BYU coming back to beat Oklahoma State, and Illinois beating Michigan on Saturday to stay in the Big 10 rankings and in contention Following the action that took place this past weekend, here are the latest AP poll rankings:
