Helmet sticker in support of the victims of Hurricane Helene

Tennessee football players will wear a “Mountain Strong” decal on their helmets beginning in the Arkansas game to show support for victims of Hurricane Helene.

On Friday, UT posted an image of the helmet sticker along with a message on X, formerly known as Twitter: “We wear our hearts on our helmets.”

No. 4 Tennessee (4-0, 1-0 SEC) plays Arkansas (3-2, 1-1) in Fayetteville on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

Hurricane Helene caused billions of dollars in damage and dozens of deaths due to heavy rains and widespread flooding in North Carolina and East Tennessee.

In East Tennessee, Cocke, Greene, Unicoi, Washington, Carter, Hamblen, Hawkins and Johnson counties were hardest hit.
