Here is the release date of From season 3. You should watch it if you haven't already

I was very impressed to see that From has been in Amazon Prime Video's top 10 TV list for a few weeks now. In fact, it's in the top three, only bouncing between mega-hits Rings of Power and The Boys. That's before the show's third season is released, so it seems like a lot of people are catching up or watching for the first time. And you should too.

The From season 3 release date is September 22 on MGM+, just under two weeks away. So you'll have plenty of time to work your way through the two ten-episode seasons of the series, which has been on hiatus since April 2022 and originally began in February of that year. The series had quite a meteoric rise to success after originally airing on Epix, which moved to MGM+. Although Prime Video now airs seasons 1 and 2, season 3 will debut on MGM+.

The show doesn't feature many people that spring to mind, the biggest being Harold Perrineau of LOST fame, and guess what? This show is like the horror version of LOST with deeply strange mysteries that you're dying to solve. It hasn't disappointed so far, and it doesn't seem clear whether or not season 3 will be the end of the story.

The series received exceptionally good reviews: 96% for season 1 and 92% for season 2. The audience ratings are similarly high, 90% and 86% respectively. So what is it about? Here is the official synopsis:

“In a nightmarish town in the middle of America that imprisons everyone who enters it, reluctant residents fight to survive and search for a way out, plagued by terrifying nocturnal creatures from the surrounding woods and secrets hidden within the city.”

The concept of “a town you can't leave” may not be the most original, but the nature of the monsters the series quickly introduces is as disturbing as anything I've seen in the genre to date. And as time goes on, you can see how deep the evil and rot in this place runs as the cast tries to both survive and understand its origins. After two seasons, we still don't fully understand those origins.

I'm glad to see word of From getting out here before Season 3, and I encourage you to join the movement if you haven't already and are a horror fan. I've watched a lot of shows in this genre in my life, and this is definitely one of the best. Be sure to catch up before Season 3 airs so you can join us every week.
