How can the Las Vegas Raiders turn the season around?

It starts on the offensive side of the ball. The Raiders have not stayed true to their identity as they have struggled to dominate the football in the first six games.

Because of the way Zamir White ran the ball last season and the addition of offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, this running game was expected to improve. Things have probably gotten worse, especially because white is out.

How can the Raiders get the running game going? First, they need healthy white people. He wasn't exceptional, but he was productive. With Alexander Mattison as their top running back, the Raiders aren't going anywhere.

The offensive line also needs to continue to open gaps. White struggled to find those gaps, but that should come with time and more comfort in the system.

The Raiders also struggled to move the football through the air no matter who was at quarterback. Both Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell have turned the ball over multiple times this season. Not having Davante Adams because of the trade rumors also hurt.

The first step is to get the recipients healthy. After that everything else should fall into place.

If the offense can sustain their attacks better, their defense can rest on the sideline and they don't have to stay on the field as long. This defense has a chance to be very good, but it can't show that if it gets gassed after every drive.

The team's morale is low after so many games losses this season, but things can still change. Pierce must help the team rediscover their identity so they don't spiral out of control.
