How Lana Del Rey married an alligator tour guide named Jeremy Dufrene

Del Rey's friends were reportedly initially unsure about Dufrene, but after doing some research, they were convinced that his business is lucrative and that he is not after the singer's money. Instead, reports suggest he's a friendly, down-to-earth and low-maintenance partner – unlike her previous celebrity matches.

In fact, Dufrene perhaps strikes the perfect balance, being an avid nature lover who usually wears khakis and is dedicated to working with local wildlife, but is also independent and successful in his career. Since joining the company in 2015 (he had previously worked in a chemical factory and as a shrimp fisherman), he has toured the swamps and marshes with numerous big names, including Hollywood actors Kate Hudson, Glen Powell and Emma Roberts.

Twister And Everyone but you Star Powell seemed particularly excited about his performance in 2015. He posted a picture with Dufrene on his Instagram with the caption: “J-Bone and G-Trash. We are both single and ready to meet. Find us at the Swamp or at the Daiquiris To-Go store next door or on Craigslist Personals. I'm sorry I celebrated. (I’m not sorry).”

Still, it will be a change for Del Rey to become stepmother to Dufrene's two daughters and son. Dufrene filed for divorce from his first wife Gina in 2013 and the couple appears to be on good terms. Gina reposted photos of Dufrene and her children attending the Hangout Music Festival in Alabama, as well as one of Dufrene posing with Del Rey, to her Facebook page.

Dufrene also seems to be a quirky character. He promises his customers “a ride on the wild side” and lives by this philosophy: On his social media, he hand-feeds alligators raw chicken, calls the alligators his “Cajun farm dogs,” and has apparently given each of them a name.
