Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Sunday and made her pitch for the White House on the second-biggest podcast on Spotify.

Host Alex Cooper discussed reproductive health policy with the Democratic presidential candidate in the show's first major political shift.

“I couldn’t imagine a world where this election was primarily about women, and I’m not a part of it,” Cooper said.

Harris reiterated her support for abortion protections on the podcast, including a moment that echoed Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing, in which then-Senator Harris asked whether there is a law that gives the government the power to make a decision to hit a man's body.

Cooper said she focused the interview on the topic because it was the issue she was best able to talk about.

“I’m probably not the one having the fracking conversation. But the conversation I’m qualified to have is about women’s bodies and how we are treated and valued in this country,” Cooper said.

Here's how to watch Kamala Harris' Call Her Daddy episode.

Harris interview video available on Spotify

The full video of the interview is available on Spotify.

A nearly eight-minute preview of the episode is available on YouTube.

The audio version of the podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, iHeart Podcasts and Amazon Music. According to Variety, Spotify allowed audio distribution of the podcast on external platforms in January.

Cooper signed a “multi-year deal” with Sirius in August, with a $60 million deal with Spotify in 2021.

According to Variety, the podcast is the most listened-to show on Spotify by women, trailing only “The Joe Rogan Experience” overall.

Non-traditional media defines the 2024 campaign

Both Harris and former President Donald Trump have turned to non-traditional media to reach potential voters who avoid traditional news.

Before the “Call Her Daddy” appearance, Harris spoke with the “All the Smoke” podcast, hosted by former NBA players Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.

Trump has appeared on several non-traditional platforms, including: LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau's Breaking 50 series, a live stream interview with far-right personality Adin Ross, and the This Past Weekend podcast hosted by Theo Von. . Business Leaders for Harris CEO Mark Cuban appeared on “This Past Weekend” in September and the group launched its own podcast the same day.
