AMES, Iowa — Rocco Becht threw two touchdowns and ran for another, and Carson Hansen had two scores as No. 20 Iowa State rolled to a 52-7 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday.

Becht's 1-yard run gave the Cyclones a 14-0 lead late in the first quarter, and his touchdown passes of 10 yards to Tyler Moore and 16 yards to Jayden Higgins helped the Cyclones (3-0) take a 31-0 lead at halftime.

Hansen, who saw little playing time in his freshman year, ran for 58 yards on nine attempts and forced a fumble late in the third quarter after an interception by ISU backup quarterback Connor Moberly.

The Cyclones ran for 237 yards and finished the game with 490 total yards of offense, their best since 2021.
