IRON MAIDEN Kicks Off Fall 2024 “The Future Past” North American Tour in San Diego (Video)

British heavy metal icons, Iron Maidenlaunched the North American leg of its program in fall 2024 “The future past” tour last night (Friday, October 4th) at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista, a suburb of San Diego, California.

During a recent interview with Australia's “Always Black” podcast, Steve Harris was asked if there was new music from Iron Maiden is on the horizon.

“No, not at the moment,” the bassist replied (as transcribed by Blabbermouth). “Nothing is in the works at the moment. But that doesn't mean there won't be any.

“Bruce (Dickinson, Iron Maiden Singer) has just finished his solo tour. So he spent quite a long time doing that. Well, I don't know. Yes. I mean, maybe we'll find time to put a new album somewhere. You never know.”

When asked about his plans for the rest of the year, he said: Steve said: “I'm on tour for the next four months (with Iron Maiden and side project BRITISH LION) until Christmas. So I'm not really sure what we'll do after that. I guess we'll probably take a break GIRL for a while. I have no plans for anything with it at the moment BRITISH LION Early next year. But when something comes in, it's hard for me to turn something down. So, we’ll see.”

Iron Maiden recently announced “Run for your life” The world tour is scheduled to begin on May 27th next year in Budapest, Hungary. The band will perform 27 stadium, festival and arena shows across Europe. This tour commemorates the 50th anniversary Steve Harris founded the band in late 1975 and fans can expect a special setlist with tracks from nine studio albums Iron Maiden To Fear of the darkalong with the most elaborate and spectacular show they have ever presented.
