The Philadelphia Eagles' star receiver missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, but returned in dramatic fashion on Sunday, leading his team to a 20-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns at Lincoln Financial Field.

Brown finished the game with six catches for 116 yards and a touchdown and, fittingly, secured a high ball in the final two minutes to secure the win. He wasn't the only receiver to make a difference after returning from injury, as DeVonta Smith had three catches for 64 yards and the game-winning touchdown after missing the previous game due to a concussion.

Philadelphia is now 3-2 on the season and there was a lot of praise for the two receivers on social media:

AJ Brown is the greatest wide receiver in Eagles franchise history.

The Eagles had Super Bowl aspirations at the start of the season, and an opening win over the Green Bay Packers didn't change that. However, they dropped two of the next three games and hoped it would be a good game.

The returns of Brown, Smith and Lane Johnson (concussion) suggested this, so it made sense for the former to give the home team the go-ahead after a slow offensive start.

While Philadelphia remained scoreless in the first quarter, Brown broke free in the second quarter with a deep ball for the game's first touchdown. It was the type of vertical play from Jalen Hurts that was largely missing for a long time when Brown was sidelined, though that positive vibe quickly faded.

That's because Myles Garrett blocked a field goal that Rodney McLeod Jr. returned for a touchdown, which led to Eagles fans booing their team in the locker room and the halftime score was 10.

Boos were appropriate for a rather ugly game, as the second half offense led to the Browns missing a field goal, both sides trading punts, and then both sides waiting for field goals. That Watson struggled wasn't surprising since it's his new reality, but Philadelphia also missed several opportunities to take control.

But it finally took advantage of one of those chances when Smith got wide open on an underneath crossing route and used it the rest of the way for a 45-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Cleveland had a chance to respond, but after several false starts, settled for a field goal in the red zone and never got the ball back thanks to another clutch connection between Hurts and Brown.

This gives the Eagles some momentum for an important away game against the New York Giants.
