Jay Cutler Arrested: Report | San Diego Sports 760

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was reportedly arrested on Thursday evening (October 17) for drunk driving and weapons possession. TMZ Reports.

Cutler, 41, was reportedly arrested in Franklin, Tennessee and booked into the Williamson County Jail on charges of drunk driving, failure to exercise due diligence, violating the implied consent law and possession of a handgun under the influence of alcohol before later being released on bail was the same evening. No further details regarding Cutler's arrest were immediately released.

Cutler was a Pro Bowler in 2008 and was named one of the 100 Greatest Chicago Bears of All Time during the team's centennial in 2019. He ranked first in franchise history for passing yards (23,444), passing touchdowns (154) and QB wins (51). The Indiana native finished his 12-year NFL career with 35,133 yards, 227 touchdowns and 160 interceptions on 3,048 of 4,920 passes.

Cutler was selected 11th overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2006 NFL Draft and spent his first three seasons with the franchise before being traded to the Bears in 2009. The former Vanderbilt star initially retired in May 2017 before signing with the Miami Dolphins for a final season in August of that same year.

Cutler is the reality star's ex-husband Kristin Cavallariwith whom he has three children and in which he appeared regularly E! series Very Cavallari.
