Josh Hart's anger at Chelsea sparks turmoil at Karl-Anthony Towns Knicks

The Knicks are in the middle of a blockbuster, but Josh Hart's attention was on Chelsea on Saturday morning.

Hart posted: “Uhh… are we serious?” on X with no further context.

Fans were quick to embrace his comments, believing he was referring to the Knicks' move for Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Post's Stefan Bondy confirmed that the Knicks are acquiring the superstar big man from the Timberwolves.

Hart's reaction to the deal would be particularly notable since his close friend – and former Villanova teammate – Donte DiVincenzo was part of the deal, along with Julius Randle, DaQuan Jeffries and a lottery-protected first-round pick from the Pistons.

But Hart doubled down and claimed he was just talking about Chelsea, his favorite football team.

Just moments before Hart's goalpost, Chelsea had conceded a goal against Brighton in their Premier League game, leaving them 1-0 behind.

Hart also recently posted “#COYB,” which stands for “Come on You Blues” – one of Chelsea’s battle cries.

His complaints seemed to have an effect as Chelsea scored three goals in a row to take a 3-1 lead and later lead 4-2 going into half-time.

Cole Palmer scored all four goals for Chelsea and Hart praised him on several occasions.

Hart has not yet publicly addressed the deal.

The Knicks and Timberwolves had been working on the deal for a while, The Post reported.
