Kendall And Kylie Jenner often fall on two sides of the fashion spectrum, but last night they decided to meet in the middle.

The sisters delivered some of the best red carpet looks yet at the 2024 Academy Museum Annual Gala, each showcasing their personal style in slinky dresses. Kylie opted for a vintage 1998 Mugler dress, while Kendall brought her own drama in fresh-off-the-runway Schiaparelli. Their ensembles seemed to poke fun at each other with similar design details, suggesting they made a stunning duo like the sisters themselves.

Kylie slipped into a figure-hugging dress that, like many of Mugler's pieces, put the focus on her figure. Her elegant ensemble featured a sheer fabric at the top that accentuated her curves with sparkling nude sequins. Below, a black overlay with cutouts at the hips created the appearance of a thong poking out of her skirt. The clean look felt impeccably modern, despite being released over two decades ago.

The Khy mogul completed her elegant look by styling her black hair into a voluminous braid, leaving a large pair of green gemstone earrings poking out from her hair. She accentuated her signature pout with a peach lipstick and completed her look with a matching nude manicure.

Kendall followed suit with her own dazzling glamour, although she seemed to be inspired by previous Hollywood stars. The model wore her blonde locks in an expertly coiffed style, mimicking a retro look with delicate curls and a deep side part. Her confident aesthetic continued in her black velvet dress, although the avant-garde necklines added a special touch to her ensemble.

The dress from Schiaparelli's Spring 2024 couture collection snaked around her chest, forming a kind of velvet breastplate. Its halterneck was accentuated by a large silver brooch, while a column skirt under a maze of bust cutouts added a touch of elegance. Kendall accessorized the sophisticated look with a pair of black peep-toes and forgoed any other accessories to let the dress do the talking.
