Liam Payne's sister Nicola initially thought his death was “untrue”.

Liam Payne's sister Nicholas hopes the singer has “finally found peace” after falling to his death in Argentina last week.

The One Direction alum's older sister then posted a post on Instagram Liam's death …pays tribute to the late pop star and reveals her initial reaction to the tragic news.

As Nicola put it… she found out Liam was coming over through a message alert on her phone, which gave her hope that the update was “untrue.”

She added… “I hoped for days that it was a mistake and someone did something wrong. You were truly too good for this earth, you are an angel who lived only to make people smile and be happy. You have always shown kindness to everyone you have met, and it shows how many people have confirmed what we always knew!”

As Nicola continued, she declared herself and the rest of the Payne family Liam's “biggest fans forever and ever”… and praised her little brother for his “brilliant” talent and dedication.

Before signing her note, Nicola promised to keep Liam's legacy alive, especially for the singer's son. Carry … with whom he greeted Cheryl Cole in 2017.

She remarked… “We'll make sure Bear knows about his father and how much you loved him, we promise.”

Nicola's tribute comes shortly after Liam's other big sister, Ruth Gibbins, posted on social mediain which she apologized for not being able to “save” the singer.

Countless others also honored Liam following his death… including Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Simon Cowell, Ed Sheeran And Rita Ora.

As TMZ previously reported, Liam fell to his death from a balcony on the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires last Wednesday. The singer had been in Argentina earlier this month to support his former 1D bandmate Niall's concert at the Movistar Arena and ultimately decided to extend his visit.

Police said Liam jumped off his hotel balcony… and possibly The hallucinogenic drug called “Cristal” could be to blame. However, police are waiting for final test results on the substances found in Liam's hotel room before confirming them. The investigation is ongoing.
