The exhibition between stars of LIV Golf and the PGA Tour has a date and a venue.

An 18-hole made-for-television spectacle starring Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau, announced last month, will take place Dec. 17 at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, according to a news release. Timing and broadcast details have not been announced, but the event will be broadcast on TNT Sports. (Disclaimer: Golf Digest and TNT are both owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.)

The event is not the latest edition of The Match (which previously visited Shadow Creek in 2018), but a new session involving the four golfers mentioned above. The new series is expected to take place once a year and visit international venues every two seasons.

Scheffler ends his career year in 2024, winning his second Masters, becoming the first player to successfully defend the Players Championship title and winning the Olympic gold medal in Paris. DeChambeau underlined the revival of his reputation with his second triumph at the US Open in June. McIlroy claimed three global victories this year and Koepka – a five-time major winner – two victories on the LIV Golf League circuit.

Details of the format have not been released, but it is expected to be a match play competition.

The event comes as talks continue between the PGA Tour and LIV's backer, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, over a possible unification of professional golf.
