Live Updates: Hezbollah drone attack on Israeli army base kills 4 soldiers, dozens injured

At least 41 people, including at least 13 children, were killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza on Sunday, hospitals said.

Israeli attacks on the Al-Mufti School in Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp killed at least 22 people, officials at Al Awda and Al Aqsa hospitals said. According to the Gaza Civil Defense, more than 5,000 displaced people are being housed at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) school.

Among the dead, according to Al-Aqsa Hospital, was at least one infant who was brought to the hospital injured but died shortly after medical teams tried to save him. The baby's body was later carried away in the arms of his sobbing uncle and taken to the morgue, Stringer video obtained by CNN shows. Another video shows the deceased child next to another deceased baby in the hospital morgue.

An Israeli airstrike killed five children as they played marbles in the Al Shati camp in northern Gaza, according to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

Footage seen by CNN shows children bleeding from the face as they are transported to the hospital. A video shows the five deceased children wrapped in shrouds as heartbroken family members say goodbye.

Another video shows a surviving child named Rakan on a hospital bed.

According to Al-Aqsa Hospital, eight family members – including six children – were killed in Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza when the Israeli military struck a house where they were seeking refuge. Another six people were killed when an Israeli tank shelled the Bureij refugee camp, it said.

CNN has reached out to the Israeli military for comment on the attacks.
