Michigan State Spartans football at Oregon Ducks

The Spartans continue the core of their program with a trip across the country to face undefeated and No. 6 ranked Oregon on the national stage.

After a 38-7 home loss to Ohio State, Michigan State faces another top 10 team, but this time on the road. The Spartans ran the ball well against the Buckeyes and didn't look physically outmatched most of the night, but costly turnovers and mistakes proved too much to keep up with Ohio State.

These mistakes must be limited as the Spartans advance into one of the most hostile areas in the country. However, Oregon has let its opponents hang around in home games so far. The Ducks needed a late score to defeat FCS Idaho in Week 1, only defeating Boise State of the Mountain West by a score of 37-34. Oregon has had two dominant road performances in the last two weeks, with a 49-14 win over Oregon State and a 34-13 win at UCLA.
