Multiple deaths in Fall City: murder investigation ongoing

Early this morning, just before 5 a.m., King County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a possible suicide in the Lake Alice Road neighborhood of Fall City.

Upon arrival, officers determined there were multiple fatalities, which led to a homicide investigation. Initial reports indicate this may be a domestic violence incident. Authorities have confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public.

At least one person was taken to the hospital and another person is currently cooperating with investigators in the investigation. A neighbor with medical training arrived at the scene before first responders and helped those in need.

The investigation is still in its early stages and involves multiple agencies, including the Washington State Patrol, which is assisting with forensics.

The King County Prosecutor's Office and the King County Coroner are also involved. Issaquah Police responded to the scene and provided additional assistance.

School district offers support following incident

In response to the tragedy, the Snoqualmie Valley School District released a statement acknowledging the impact such events can have on the community.

Superintendent Dan Schlotfeldt assured families that counselors and support staff would be available throughout the week to help students process the difficult news.

The district stressed that while the victims were not known to have attended its schools, the incident could impact students throughout the community.

Families are encouraged to contact their school's counseling center if they have concerns or need further support for their children.

This is an ongoing investigation. Further details will be announced as they become available.
