Netflix's new thriller is about to replace Die Hard as a holiday movie – here's the first trailer

Is “Die Hard” a Christmas movie? It's a debate that rages every year, but there's no question that the upcoming Netflix action thriller Carry-On will bring a dose of adrenaline to the holiday season this year. And based on its first teaser trailer, this new Netflix film could replace the iconic '80s action film as the holiday film for action fanatics.

Coming to Netflix on December 13th, “Carry-On” centers on a young TSA agent (Taron Egerton) who takes on the dreaded Christmas Eve shift. But as if dealing with impatient passengers trying to get home for the holidays wasn't already a headache, his night takes a serious turn when a mysterious traveler (played by Jason Bateman) blackmails him into taking a strange package with him on a busy flight gain weight.
