Oasis tickets are officially sold in the USA. Here's how to get it – NBC Chicago

Tickets for the North American leg of the highly anticipated 2025 Oasis tour will go on sale on Friday, shortly after experts issued warnings to fans trying to buy them early amid huge global demand.

After an abrupt breakup in 2009, the Britpop band known for global hits like “Wonderwall” and “Don't Look Back In Anger” is on tour next summer through five cities in North America, including a stop in Chicago Soldiers' Field on August 28, 2025.

The band's Soldier Field show will be its first in the Chicago area since its December 2008 appearance at Allstate Arena in Rosemont as part of the “Dig Out Your Soul Tour.” This show was one of the last shows the band played in North America before disbanding.

Demand for tickets for the upcoming tour was high, leading to warnings as fans attempted to purchase on resale sites before tickets for the performances were even available.

Although there were no tickets on sale yet, many resale sites offered what experts call “speculative ticketing,” in which scalpers sell fans what is essentially an “IOU” for tickets they haven't yet purchased .

Although Oasis ticket prices for their North American shows have not yet been announced, tickets are being offered on resale sites for up to $2,300 each.

Ticketmaster and Live Nation, its parent company, are warning fans not to fall victim to the sky-high prices.

NBC 5 Responds is also investigating complaints from people who claim tickets were transferred from their Ticketmaster account without their knowledge or permission.

Oasis issued a statement earlier this week clarifying that the band will not be using the dynamic pricing model for the UK/Ireland dates, as tickets for these dates will go on sale at the end of August. Dynamic pricing increases ticket prices during times of high demand.

Tickets for Oasis Live 25's North American shows will go on sale Friday, October 4th at 12pm local time.

In addition to the Soldier Field show next August, Oasis will play the following shows in North America next year:

• Rogers Stadium, Toronto, Ontario: August 24th, 25th
• MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey: August 31, September 1
• Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California: September 6th, 7th
• Estadio GNP Seguros, Mexico City, Mexico: September 12th and 13th

American rock band Cage the Elephant was announced as the support act for the North American leg of the tour.
