8:27: Michigan State comes into the game with a 7-play, 75-yard drive. Aidan Chiles completes a 35-yard pass to Montorie Foster and two passes to Jack Velling and Michigan State can't miss this game. Oregon 31, Michigan State 7

3rd quarter

4:25: More mistakes: Nick Marsh falls on a fumbled handoff, losing six, then after a nice run by Aidan Chiles, the Spartans have a delay of game on third down and can't convert as they punt again. Oregon 24, Michigan State 0

6:49: Four straight goals for Oregon while the Ducks score a field goal. Dillon Gabriel has now thrown the ball over 200 yards, but missed a potential touchdown throw before the field goal. Oregon 24, Michigan State 0

10:42: Michigan State crossed midfield on its first drive of the second half but was eliminated afterward. A sack by Aidan Chiles and a drop by Jaron Glover, which would have been a nice downfield completion, forced the fifth punt of the day for the Spartans. Oregon 21, Michigan State 0

2nd quarter

0:05: Oregon turns to its passing game in the 2-minute drill as Dillon Gabriel marches the Ducks 73 yards down the field and throws a touchdown pass just before halftime, making it a three-touchdown game. Aside from its first drive, Michigan State was completely outplayed. Oregon 21, Michigan State 0

1:53: Michigan State takes an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty – its second of the half – and begins the drive on 1st-and-23. MSU's offense can't overcome it, and after an Aidan Chiles sack on third down, the Spartans stumble again. Oregon 14, Michigan State 0

6:20: Oregon continues to have its way with Michigan State on the ground. The Ducks recorded a 55-yard touchdown drive with no pass attempts and now lead the rushing column 174-5. Oregon 14, Michigan State 0

9:11: Michigan State leaves its own end zone, but not much further, and Oregon will get the ball with 55 yards to go to score. Oregon 7, Michigan State 0

11:17: Michigan State ends a second Oregon drive in the end zone with an interception, this time by Charles Brantley. The Spartans trail in total yards 230-67, but are only a touchdown behind thanks to some timely takeaways from their defense. Oregon 7, Michigan State 0

2:20 p.m.: Michigan State can't get its running game going; It now has three rush yards on nine carries as it goes three-and-out for a second straight drive. Oregon 7, Michigan State 0

1st quarter

0:22: Oregon marches 75 yards for the opening score of the game. The Ducks' Traeshon Holden had a 37-yard catch while on the ground, and Oregon surpassed 100 rushing yards before the end of the first quarter. Oregon 7, Michigan State 0

3:52: Former Michigan State DL Derrick Harmon records an 11-yard sack on first down and the Spartans can't recover with a three-and-out on their second offensive drive. Michigan State 0, Oregon 0

6:14: Michigan State responds to the goal-line change with a goal-line takeaway of its own. Malik Spencer steps in front of a pass from Dillon Gabriel to deflect it in the end zone, ending an Oregon scoring threat. MSU held Gabriel 2-for-7 with a pick for 10 yards. Michigan State 0, Oregon 0

10:09: Michigan State's first offensive attack is emblematic of this season. The Spartans have a nice 44-yard completion on fourth down to reach the Oregon 2-yard line, but Aidan Chiles fumbles at the goal line and Oregon gets the ball at its 20th. Michigan State 0, Oregon 0

2:06 p.m.: Oregon begins the game with a deep shot to test the Spartans' secondary. MSU may have gotten away with a little contact from Malik Spencer, but it's incomplete. Michigan State follows with a stuffed run and a quarterback hit on third down to force a crucial early punt. Michigan State 0, Oregon 0

Foreplay: The injury news prior to this injury is good. Starting left tackle Stanton Ramil and wide receiver Nick Marsh both do not appear on the injury report. Both were listed as questionable last week; Ramil didn't play and Marsh was limited.
