Patriots fans are unsurprisingly reacting to Jacoby Brissett pick-six

Jacoby Brissett didn't turn the ball over in the first three games of the season, but on Sunday the New England Patriots quarterback made a costly mistake against the San Francisco 49ers.

San Francisco's star linebacker Fred Warner intercepted a telegraphed Brissett pass and returned it 45 yards for a pick-six. Brissett targeted wide receiver Tyquan Thornton on the play, but had two open receivers, including DeMario Douglas.

The game extended San Fran's lead to 13-0 with 14:01 remaining in the first half. It was the second drive in a row that ended in a loss after a fumble by Rhamondre Stevenson.

Given Brissett's position as a veteran ahead of rookie quarterback Drake Maye, the reaction from New England fans wasn't all that surprising.

Brissett had done nothing in three games to lose his starting spot. But Brissett's first half against the Niners on Sunday showed he didn't do much to retain the title either.
