The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is the person who flies planes into hurricanes to collect data about them.

Now we learn that NOAA has paid tribute to a legendary radar scientist and researcher named Peter Dodge in a truly unconventional but strangely romantic way.

This person even found a journal written by Dodge titled “The Kinematic Structure of a Hurricane with Sea Level Pressure Less than 900 mb,” which is fitting because Milton's pressure fell below that 900 mb.
