Louisville's 31-24 loss to Notre Dame last week was costly in more ways than one, as Cardinals alum and Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson had to settle an unflattering debt.

Notre Dame alum and Ravens offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley posted a photo of Jackson wearing a leprechaun hat after the loss:

The Cardinals overcame a 21-7 deficit in the first quarter against the Fighting Irish to make it a one-score game. Unfortunately, their attempt to score a game-winning touchdown failed at their own 49-yard line with 53 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Stanley is one of two Notre Dame alums on the Ravens' roster, along with star safety Kyle Hamilton, so they certainly had fun trolling Jackson after last week's game. Wide receiver Malik Cunningham is also a Louisville graduate, but he's on the practice squad and probably hasn't been as ridiculed as Jackson.

After a slow start to the 2024 season, morale appears to be high in the Ravens' locker room after two straight wins. Baltimore is coming off a 35-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills, which catapulted the team into the discussion for the top spot in the AFC despite its 2-2 record.

The Ravens lead the NFL with 429.5 yards per game and 220.3 rushing yards per game, the latter being nearly 50 yards more than the second-place Green Bay Packers (174.5 rush ypg).

The Ravens will be looking for their third straight win when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North matchup on Sunday.
