Prince Harry: Melania Trump is outraged by this shocking decision by the Biden administration; That's what happened

After her late mother's personal information and immigration records were published, Melania Trump became enraged. The Department of Homeland Security's “shocking” decision to release her late mother's immigration records angered Melania Trump, according to a family lawyer.

The Heritage Foundation's ongoing dispute over Prince Harry's visa applications coincided with the release of 166 pages of documents about Amalija Knavs, who died in January at the age of 78, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

According to the Daily Mail, Ms. Trump is understandably upset, says Michael Wildes, Knavs' immigration lawyer. She intends to explore options for retaliation to protect her family.

Her family questioned how such a confidential disclosure was allowed after the Washington, D.C.-based think tank announced that the records were released in May, just 11 days after a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was filed had been.

This extreme and heinous breach of Ms. Knavs' immigration file – which contains extremely private medical records and addresses that threaten her family's safety – is a ridiculous insult not only to Ms. Knavs and her family, including former First Lady Melania Trump, but also for them to the principles of privacy and confidentiality, explained the lawyer.

The fact that Ms. Knavs' immigration file was released by DHS just eleven days later further underscores how inappropriate this request was.

Knavs' immigration attorney Wildes, who witnessed her swearing-in as a U.S. citizen in 2018, claimed that the shocking and completely unnecessary disclosure desecrated her memory.

Through a FOIA request that was ultimately denied, the Heritage Foundation had obtained the Duke of Sussex's immigration records.

The conservative organization Heritage plans to appeal the decision to publish Prince Harry's immigration papers. In 2023, Heritage sued the Department of Homeland Security to release Harry's immigration papers to prove whether he had made truthful statements about his past drug use. However, DHS denied Heritage's initial Freedom of Information (FOIA) request and subsequent efforts to obtain the Duke's records.

The dismissal of the case protects Harry from future embarrassing revelations about his private life.
