Ravens at Bengals postgame notes and quotes

Wolfpack team up for first quarter pick

Two former NC State teammates helped the Bengals get their first takeaway of the game when defensive tackle BJ Hill blocked a throw from Daniel Jones late in the first quarter and linebacker Germaine Pratt turned in the interception at the Cincinnati three-yard line. It was Pratt's first pick of the season and his third takeaway, as he recovered a fumble in Week 2 at Kansas City and in overtime against Baltimore last week.

Pratt now has six career interceptions, the fourth-most of any NFL linebacker since his first overall pick in 2021.

Hill, who spent his first three professional seasons (2018-20) with the Giants, finished the night with seven tackles while intercepting two passes at the line of scrimmage.

Chase's 33-yarder sets up the go-ahead field goal

Burrow gained time in the pocket and found receiver Ja'Marr Chase downfield for a 33-yard throw and catch midway through the third quarter. It was Cincinnati's longest pass of the night and marked Chase's sixth possession in the league of more than 30 yards this season.

Chase's catch set up a 37-yard field goal by Evan McPherson eight plays later, giving the Bengals a 10-7 lead.

Trey Hendrickson recorded his fourth and fifth sacks of the season, giving Jones nine yards in the second quarter and six yards late in the fourth quarter. It was Hendrickson's 13th career multi-sack game and his ninth since joining the Bengals in 2021, marking the fifth-most such games in the NFL during that span.
