Review of Devara

Devara Part 1 starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor hit theaters on Friday, September 27. The film, which marks Jr NTR's first solo release in six years, received impressive reviews on social media. While a section of fans praised Jr NTR's acting and Koratala Siva's direction, others were disappointed with the visual effects used in the action film.

Devara Part 1 already had shows at 1 and 4 am in Andhra Pradesh. Those who have watched the film have shared their reviews on their respective X-Handles. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 features Jr NTR in dual roles.

One social media user reviewed the fast-paced action film, calling it an “overall excellent film.” She praised the first half of the film and stated that it gave her “sheer goosebumps.” However, she expressed her disappointment with the film's background music and visual effects. She wrote: “What! A script/story with poor background music and VFX (sic).”

Another performance: This will be the next big South Indian blockbuster, just like Baahubali. I can't wait to see him again.

A third user wrote: “For the first time @tarak9999 breaks the powerful SSR curse. He strikes with #Devara #Koratala Shiva is back and how the boy Ani (Anirudh Ravichander) rocked great and is a great addition to the film.” . #JrNTR explodes on screen and you have to witness it for yourself (sic).”

Another member of the audience wrote, “Devara is revolutionizing Indian cinema! This cinematic masterpiece exceeds expectations and surpasses Bollywood's biggest hits! Stunning first half and goosebump-inducing last 20 minutes! JR NTR’s magnum opus (sic).”

A fan from Orissa shared his experience of watching Devara in his state. He wrote, “JR NTR does not have a strong fan base in Odisha but people here know the mass cinema wonder of South Cinemas. The audience here in the theater was crazy (sic).”

Devara: Part 1 is creating a huge buzz and has impressive ticket sales. It is prepared for a successful global opening. It is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, with presentation by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
