Russia relies on cabotage as capacity shortage worsens

The Russian government wants to invite foreign airlines to operate cabotage flights in the country as local airlines do not have the capacity to increase traffic. Negotiations are being held with so-called friendly countries, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit told local journalists in October.
