Shara “Bullet” Magomedov scores a double-fist walk-off KO at UFC 308

Best known for his explosive kickboxing style, “Superman” Petrosyan has shown in his five fights under the UFC banner that he is a dangerous fighter for anyone in the middleweight division.

Early in the fight, the Armenian caught Magomedov with a big right hand that momentarily staggered the Russian and pushed him back against the cage, making it look like he would lose his unbeaten record.

Nevertheless, the 30-year-old showed his courage and quickly recovered from the big shot, returning some damaging throws of his own. During the first round it was clear that both fighters were trying to destroy the other with some devastating leg kicks.

After being rocked early on, Shara “Bullet” managed to fully recover and turn the tide with some significant punches of his own.

Petrosyan appeared to be at his worst in the second round as Magomedov's leg kicks took their toll and he found his timing and rhythm.

After another strong round for Magomedov, with just eight seconds left in the round, he landed a huge, spinning back fist on the chin of Petrosyan, and as he spun back around, he landed another punch that sent Petrosyan down .

Shara Magomedov praises fellow striker Israel Adesanya after incredible win

The absolutely incredible walk-off KO marks the first time a fighter has won a fight via a double, spinning backfist, with Magomedov taking full advantage of being involved in the PPV portion of the card.

Before the fight, Magomedov stated that he wanted to face some of the other top strikers in the division and fight a big name at 185 pounds.

“I am happy, very happy. Listen to me, I am the best striker in this division, I will smash Israel Adesanya,” Magomedov claimed in his Octagon interview.

After his disappointing loss to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 305, Israel Adesanya will likely have to fight his way down the rankings to have another shot at the title.

Although he and Magomedov are extremely far apart in the middleweight division, it's a matchup that could be extremely exciting for fans given their two styles. However, “The Last Stylebender” recently hinted at a possible fight against Nassourdine Imavov.
