'SNL' Brings Alec Baldwin Back as Bret Baier in Kamala Harris Parody

Alec Baldwin returned to “Saturday Night Live” for the first time since 2020 — but not for his famous Donald Trump impression.

He played Fox News' Bret Baier on the October 19 episode of the late-night comedy series, spoofing the host's recent interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, who is played by Maya Rudolph throughout Season 50.

“The pleasure is not ours,” Rudolph said as she sat down with Baldwin after her performance.

As Baier began, Baldwin said, “When I interviewed President Trump, my first question was, 'What do you think is the most important issue facing our nation?' So my first question to you is: 'Tell me the exact number of murderers you have released in this country?'”

The two continued to argue and talk over each other, as Baier and Harris did in the real interview on Wednesday. “Are you going to let me finish?” asked Rudolph. “I’m asking you to do this,” Baldwin said. Rudolph retorted, “Well, then you have to listen,” to which Baldwin replied, “Well, I can't because I'm talking.” Annoyed, Rudolph asks, “Well, when are you going to stop?” The part ended with Baier saying : “Maybe when I go to bed.”

Throughout the sketch, Baldwin's Baier continued to try to step on the vice president's toes. When he accused Rudolph's Harris of rejecting Trump supporters: “Are they stupid? Are they idiots? Slack jaw? Stump Humpers? Cross-eyed meatheads?” She replied, “You're trying to make me say something bad!”

“You're very sexy when you're angry, you know that?” Baldwin told her, drawing huge laughter from the audience when Rudolph replied, “Yes, I do.”

More to come…
