Social media streamers will be led out in handcuffs after a recent beating attempt overnight

Swatting incidents have become increasingly common in Los Angeles in recent weeks, and the latest victim was popular social media streamer N3on and his crew.

Accordingly TMZN3on and his roommates – who are in the middle of a 30-day, 24-hour livestream on Kick – were sleeping on the morning of Tuesday, October 8, when police showed up and led them out of the house in handcuffs.

Police officials told the outlet that they received a call around 9 a.m. about a possible shooting or domestic violence at the address, which was later determined to be an attempted hit.

Unfortunately, despite generating hundreds of millions of views streaming from home over the last six days, N3on claimed his landlord was kicking him out because of what happened.

N3on is just the latest celebrity to fall victim to a swatting attack in Los Angeles. In late September, the LAPD received a call that led them to conduct a welfare check at an address that turned out to be correct Jennifer Aniston home. The caller referred to a friend who was “not feeling well” and mentioned the possibility of self-harm.

When the police entered the house, they were greeted by Aniston's security guards. After finding out who was staying at the residence, they spoke to the actress (who assured them she was fine).

Just over a week later, the LAPD was on the doorstep of Chris Pines home after receiving a 911 call claiming someone had been sexually assaulted at his address. Shortly after they arrived, police determined the call was a fake, making it the fourth “swatter” attempted against Pine's home.
