Sydney Sweeney shoots down Oregon Duck mascot after flirtatious “College GameDay” message

The Oregon Duck mascot saw his opportunity on ESPN's “College GameDay” Saturday morning and took advantage of it.

While the ESPN crew was busy making their picks for the upcoming games Saturday morning, The Duck stood in the background holding a sign with a message for his crush, beloved actress Sydney Sweeney.

“Sydney Sweeney Call Me Back,” the sign read.

It was a desperate attempt, but one that many men would make if they only had 15 seconds of fame.

Luckily for the duck, his crush responded to him on social media.

Unfortunately for the Duck, it appears to be a rejection.

“Sorry I changed my number haha,” Sweeney wrote as a caption on social media.

The HBO star of Euphoria, White Lotus, and many, many other things was at least nice enough to respond, but we can all wish she at least gave The Duck a chance to woo her a little more.

At the very least, she could have waited until Saturday's game against No. 2 Ohio State was over to make her decision. If the Ducks end up winning, she might regret saying “no” so quickly.
