Taylen Green injury update: Arkansas QB heads to the locker room in the 4th quarter against Tennessee

In the fourth quarter of Saturday's game against Tennessee, Arkansas QB Taylen Green suffered a severe blow and sustained an injury to his left knee. He tried to get back into the game but later went to the locker room.

ABC's Holly Rowe reported that Green was unlikely to return, although he eventually got back into the game. That means it probably will be Malachi Singletons Show the rest of the way as Arkansas tries to keep Tennessee's offense in check.

Green had previously left the game but was standing on the sidelines with his helmet on, apparently ready to go back out. But when Arkansas kicked a field goal to end the drive, it didn't come back – but came back on the ensuing possession.

Green is in his first year since transferring from Arkansas Boise State.
