Taylor Swift makes friendship bracelets in the French Quarter for the “Eras” tour

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Taylor Swift will take over New Orleans at Caesars Superdome for three nights starting October 25th. Fans and companies are already preparing for it. In a boutique in the French Quarter, they prepare for friendship bracelet making classes for all the “Swifties.”

It's time for pearl shaking and a pearl making party for “Shake It Off” superstar Taylor Swift.

“Come in, get a tray and make your own bracelet, and you can choose your own beads,” said Stephanie Henry, sales associate at Passion Lilie in the French Quarter.

Over at Passion Lilie, they host several “Swiftie” parties to make friendship bracelets.

“It's something you can take to the concert and it's your own personal thing that you made,” she said.

You have a variety of beads to choose from.

“We have shiny beads, star beads, beads with initials and beads of different colors; Some are small, some are large and some are medium,” Henry said.

Jeweler, former art teacher and shop owner Beatrix Bell will be teaching all Taylor Swift fans how to make the fun bracelets.

“When you learn how to make a bracelet, you also learn how to make other custom accessories,” Henry said.

Make and shake, all part of the “Swiftie” mania.

From now until October 26th, they will be offering multiple dates and times throughout the week to accommodate different schedules.
