“Terrifier 3” is tied with “Monster Opening Day” at the top of the box office in France

To November 19, 2024, 1984 release will publish an expanded paperback edition of Sleepaway Camp: Make the movie and rekindle the campfire from Jeff Hayes.

The second edition contains over 100 new pages of behind-the-scenes content and photos, all focusing primarily on the sequels to the cult classics Sleepaway Camp II & III.

A 5-track Sleepaway Camp II / III The soundtrack EP will accompany the book's release on vinyl and CD, Bloody Disgusting also learned this afternoon.

Various vinyl color variants will be available as well as special editions that include signed cast photos, lyric sheets and exclusive editions Sleepaway Camp III Flexi audio postcards.

Author Jeff Hayes said in a statement: “After the release of the hardback, I was contacted by fans worldwide who liked the information about the original film but had additional questions about the sequels.” That's why 1984 Publishing and I thought the fans needed a deep dive in the sequels as bonus content for the second edition.”

“I started with screenwriter Michael Hitchcock, who laid out Angela's path forward in Parts 2 and 3. “Michael and I conducted a series of in-depth interviews covering character motivations, deleted scenes, creative kills, budget adjustments, inside jokes and more,” Hayes continues. “I also interviewed (and included personal behind-the-scenes photos) fan favorites Brian Patrick Clarke ('TC'), Mark Oliver ('Tony'), Daryl Wilcher ('Riff'), Carol Chambers and Amy Fields ('). “The Shit Sisters”), Kim Wall (“Cindy”), Kendall Bean (“Demi”), FX creator Bill “Splat” Johnson and more. It’s the most comprehensive look at the sequels yet.”

The second issue ends with a new interview with designer and actor Loris Diranwho played Billy in the original Sleeping camp. Diran, a member of the LGBT community, offers readers a unique perspective on the original cult film, its aftermath, and his personal impact on it.

The paperback edition contains all of the original content of the hardcover publication. Long-time civil servant Sleeping camp Webmaster, author and filmmaker Hayes wrote the additional pages
between autumn 2023 and spring 2024.

To accompany the publication of the book, a soundtrack EP by the musician will be released John Altynwhich also includes the fan favorite “Outta Control” by Sleepaway Camp II (originally intended for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3), three mixes of the song “Sleepaway” (from Sleepaway Camp III) and the classic “Happy Camper Song,” which was included in both sequels. All vinyl editions also include a bonus flexi postcard with an audio trailer for Sleepaway Camp III.

The 12-inch gatefold vinyl edition will be available in the following variants:

● “Camp Rolling Hills” split vinyl (dark blue and light blue – limited to 150)
● Shit Sisters Pot Haze Vinyl (includes a print signed by Carol Chambers and Amy Fields – limited to 100 copies)
● Riff's Switchblade silver vinyl (including a print signed by Daryl Wilcher – limited to 100 copies)
● White “Coke” vinyl (includes autographed “Sleepaway” sheet music by John Altyn – limited to 100 copies)

The soundtrack artwork was created by renowned artist Robert Sammelin and the book cover was designed by Hagcult (based on the original hand-drawn one-sheet artwork by David).
