Texans' Stefon Diggs responded to the Josh Allen and Bills encounter bluntly with four words

There is reportedly no bad blood between Houston Texans star wide receiver Stefon Diggs and his former team, the Buffalo Bills – just a fair amount of AFC competition.

Diggs and the Texans will host the Bills at NRG Stadium on Sunday, in Diggs' first game against Buffalo since being traded in April. While Diggs isn't the first NFL player to face a former team, he'll likely still be the center of attention when the Texans and Bills – both 3-1 to start the season – square off as expected be a high-profile affair.

The Houston star discussed his mindset heading into the “revenge” game against the Bills and gave a rather simple outlook on the upcoming matchup.

“Block out the noise,” Diggs said, via ESPN.

“A lot of other people are going to have an opinion or a lot to say about X, Y, Z, and I don't mind that,” Diggs continued. “I'm not mad about it. I'm just trying to make it 1-0. Obviously they are a good team. They have a lot of guys who can fly around on defense. But they are a really good team. That’s why I’m looking forward to it.”

So far in his first season with the Texans, Diggs has 25 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns. The All-Pro wideout caught 37 touchdowns from Josh Allen during his time with the Bills, tied for the most touchdowns of any quarterback-receiver duo in the league during Diggs' four-year tenure in Buffalo.

But the NFL season is only four games old and Diggs is surrounded by a talented offensive support staff in Houston, including young wideouts Nico Collins and Tank Dell.

“It’s easy to get a bad reputation,” Diggs said. “Word travels quickly, but when you get to a place and people get to know you, they can assess you in their personal way and how they interact with you. And usually when I get somewhere else, things change. Usually there are smiles and lots of positive things. I just take it with a grain of salt. I have big shoulders.”
