YOU STILL HAVE LIFE: Maybe I jinxed the Detroit Tigers, but I still believe they will beat the Guardians in Game 5 of the ALDS

The postponed start time means Tigers fans will now have to wait until late in the evening to see if their team can survive a five-game tie against AL Central foe Cleveland.

It looked like the Tigers wouldn't even need Game 5 when they took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning of Game 4, but the lead was quickly lost when David Fry launched a home run into the stands to give in The Guardians led 4-3 in the seventh inning. The Tigers fought back by putting runners on base in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings, but managed just one run as the Guardians cruised to a 5-4 victory.

The good news for the Tigers is that they will have their ace, Tarik Skubal, on the mound on Saturday, while his battery mate Jake Rogers will play, although he had to undergo an X-ray of his left wrist after picking up several foul tips just above it Hill had received glove.
