The Guardians know their toughest test lies ahead after completing ALDS Game 4

DETROIT – The Guardians came from behind to win 42 times in the regular season, but the playoffs are a whole different animal.

Thursday's 5-4 win over the Tigers at Comerica Park was the type of game that catcher Austin Hedges had been preparing his teammates for all season: with their backs against the wall, on the road against a team that plays really good baseball . It didn't matter whether they were ahead or behind on the scoreboard. Hedges said when Cleveland plays its game, the Guardians are a tough team to beat.

“We’ve done it all season,” Hedges said. “Every game throughout the season was a game we absolutely had to win. We felt like there was pressure on us to win every single game in April and May. We take that upon ourselves, and when those big moments come, we've been here before. For us it's just that we've been here before. We just practice it all season long.”
