The NBA champion Golden State Warriors reacts to Alex Caruso's Instagram post

Many believe the OKC Thunder won this NBA offseason. With Josh Giddey and Alex Caruso, the Thunder traded to the Chicago Bulls, bringing in one of the NBA's best role players and guard defenders.

OKC strengthened its frontcourt with the addition of Isaiah Hartenstein, who unfortunately will miss the start of the season. The additions of Caruso and Hartenstein strengthen the Thunder group that finished first in the Western Conference standings last season.

Caruso posted on Instagram ahead of his Thunder debut, which will take place on Thursday against the Denver Nuggets.

About Caruso: “⚡️⚡️⚡️”

Caruso received over 45,000 likes and over 370 comments on his post. One comment came from NBA champion Golden State Warriors Gary Payton II.

About Payton: “🐺🐺🐺”

Payton and Caruso were briefly teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2017-18 season. Payton only appeared in 11 games this season, while Caruso appeared in 37 games. This was Caruso's rookie season in the NBA.

Now opponents in the Western Conference, Payton and Caruso could see each other a lot this season and possibly in the playoffs. OKC is a playoff lock when healthy, but the Warriors need to prove they can return to this league after missing the playoffs last season.

This will be an exciting NBA season.
