The refurbished Quest 3 at Amazon is the best deal on the headset yet

To reposition the price scale for its flagship headset, Meta is aiming to finally launch the 128GB model of the Quest 3. A new offer for refurbished Quest 3s on Amazon is the best we've seen yet.

Amazon US currently sells a refurbished Quest 3 (128GB) for $380 and the refurbished Quest 3 (512GB) for $450 through its “Renewed Premium” program.

While you can buy refurbished Quest 3 devices directly from Meta for the same price, Amazon's offer comes with a significant additional benefit: Instead of the 30-day return policy you get from Meta, Amazon's Renewed Premium program includes a year without Questions Return (or Exchange) Policy. This gives you extra peace of mind in case you are unlucky with a refurbished device that doesn't last long.

Amazon also guarantees that Renewed Premium products have no lens scratches, have at least 90% of the original battery life, and “no signs of cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, and others) are visible when the product is held 12 inches away.”

If you're about to pull the trigger on a brand new Quest 3S, these Quest 3 deals are definitely worth considering.

A new Quest 3S (128GB) costs $300. The refurbished Quest 3 (128GB) costs $80 more, but you get significantly improved lenses and a higher-resolution display. Ultimately, this means a much clearer picture inside the headset.

Then there's the Quest 3S (256GB), which costs $400 new. Meanwhile, the refurbished Quest 3 (512GB) costs just $50 more, which not only gets you the improved lenses and higher resolution display, but also twice as much storage space.
