The Saints-Falcons game turns violent as several fan fights break out

There have been violent days for NFL fans, but Sunday in Atlanta could be talked about for years after what happened in the upper deck of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

One of the fan fights was a standard scumbag-on-scumbag brawl where a guy who looks like a tweaker gave up the higher ground to his fellow fighter and ended up paying the price.

I'll say it again for the idiots who fight at NFL games: never give up the reach advantage. Check this out:

While that was ugly for the NFL, it was nothing compared to what happened in a fight I can't even show because of the violence fans witnessed on Sunday.

A fan was literally kicked in the head four times before a fan wearing a Julio Jones jersey could be dragged away. I've seen hundreds and hundreds of NFL fan fights over the years and this fight was unlike anything I'd ever seen. The violent stomping of another man's head will make international headlines.

Will charges be filed? They should.

This is the end of the fight. The guy in red's stomping is not visible.

“What's the backstory?!?” one Instagram observer asked.

“Too much alcohol,” the video poster said.

This isn't the first time a Falcons fan has been knocked out during a fan fight at Mercedes-Benz this season. During a home game against the Steelers on September 8, two Falcons fans fought until one of the boys was knocked down when his attacker was ripped off by several other fans.

You have been warned. Be careful out there.
