The Utah Hockey Club’s warm-up game turned out to be one of the most favorable.

Ticket prices range from less than $20 (for Monday's preseason game) to over $1,200 (for a December game against the Colorado Avalanche).

When it comes to how families can enjoy the game without breaking the bank, StubHub spokesperson Joseph Bocanegra stresses the importance of choosing games with lower demands.

“We always recommend buying games on demand,” Bocanegra said.

Since the league consists of 32 teams, fans have plenty of opportunity to find inexpensive matchups.

When discussing how Utah's teams compare to others, Bocanegra noted the growing excitement surrounding the Utah Hockey Club, which is about to begin its inaugural season. Currently, the Utah Hockey Club ranks 15th on StubHub's list of the league's top grossing teams, reflecting the high level of interest ahead of their first games.

Bocanegra said if the Utah Hockey Club performs well this season, fans could expect ticket prices to increase as the season progresses.

For those who want to watch a game without spending too much money, strategic planning and timely purchases can make all the difference.

The Utah Hockey Club and Utah-based company Nomi Health announced an agreement to make games more accessible to nonprofits, schools, community groups and charities.

The Nomi Health Cares Community Ticket Program offers 100 free partial upper rink view tickets to select community members for each Utah Hockey Club home game during the 2024–25 regular season.
