The world falls in love with LSU linebacker Whit Weeks when he breaks out

When LSU lost Harold Perkins Jr. for the season, it was clear that Whit Weeks would have to step in if LSU's defense wanted to form a solid unit. This season, Whit Weeks was sensational for LSU as he consistently played on defense.

Against Arkansas, Whit Weeks had an incredible game, blitzing off the edge, tipping a pass from Taylen Green, catching it and nearly scoring a touchdown, setting up the instant touchdown for LSU. Weeks also revealed one of the best post-interception celebrations seen in college football.

As Weeks continues to develop into one of the best linebackers in the country, former players, college coaches and celebrities are falling in love with the LSU linebacker.

LSU linebacker and former NFL linebacker Lamar Louis tweeted about how good Weeks was and how he is the star of this defense.

While Weeks plays all over the field, Barstool drew a comparison from LSU to another LSU star who flew around like Weeks.

NFL star Kyle Van Noy is impressed with Whit Week's play and shared his thoughts on how NFL teams should view him during next year's draft process.

LSU women's basketball assistant coach Gary Redus immediately thought Weeks looked like a first-round pick, but LSU will bring him back for another season before he is draft eligible.

LSU women's basketball assistant coach Joe Schwartz thought the same thing.

During his breakout performance last week, Patrick Queen shared his thoughts on Weeks.

When Weeks flashes again, Queen is right to have called Weeks next.
