Travis Scott headlines huge festival in Las Vegas | Cats | Entertainment

“ComplexCon” may be an unfamiliar title for many Las Vegans. But we are familiar with the idea of 60,000 visitors to the city.

A massive mix of fashion, music, art and food debuts in Las Vegas on November 16th and 17th and was founded in Long Beach in 2016. The event will take place in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center with rap superstar Travis Scott The headliner of Sunday evening and artistic director of the event.

Playboi Carti And opium are among the artists on November 16th.

Scott is bringing CactusCon to ComplexCon for the first time, bringing his clothing brand Cactus Jack with him. The event is a retail goldmine for ticket holders, showcasing many festival-exclusive items and more than three dozen popular brands.

“Travis Scott helped open the first ComplexCon and we are excited to welcome him back in an expanded role and as a Sunday night headliner,” said Complex CEO Aaron Levant it says in a statement. “Travis Scott defines this generation of Complex fans and we are excited to partner with him in our new home in Las Vegas.”

Levant likened ComplexCon to a modern iteration of the recurring World's Fairs of yesteryear. The executive director noted last week at a preview event at Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World Las Vegas that ComplexCon has entered into a three-year contract with the LVCVA to host the event at the convention center. But the vision is to have it in Las Vegas every year.

The show has also featured Long Beach since its inception, but never nearly as broadly. This year's ComplexCon will be four times larger, covering more than 1 million square feet. The number of brands, exclusive merch drops, activations and experiences is at an all-time high. As we say: wear your hiking boots.

She got up and is running

Amy Saunders “Mavericks” is open for previews at the Plaza Showroom. Saunders is an excellent host, despite a two-year hiatus since her show moved out of Cheapshot's Fremont East location. The rotating performances offer something for every taste, especially if you prefer classic carnival-style entertainment.

Mr and Mrs G. from Crossbowstunts (aka Ottavio and Naomi Brenkman), switched from their scheduled appearance at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix to appear on Thursday's show. Julie Atlas Muz is back with their zombie hand act; The burlesque icon is a former Miss Exotic World and appeared in Absinthe in New York four years before the show premiered in Las Vegas.

“Mavericks” is unique, especially as a ticketed show downtown. The Plaza Showroom is beautiful – the foliage in the middle of the venue is a clever touch. The show has value (starting with a $35 ticket, no fees for locals), but it's not a cheap experience. These are experienced artists and time-honored artists. The key is to inform the neighborhood and also add a cool touch to the retro-style venue. That's it. Just give this some time.

Cool hang alarm
