Trump makes fries at McDonald's in Pennsylvania: “I've now worked 15 minutes longer than Kamala”

Former President Donald Trump took on a new role as he cooked and served french fries to customers at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon, while also lavishly denouncing Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Hello everyone. It's my first day at McDonald's, I'm looking for a job,” Trump said as he entered the restaurant and shook the owner's hand.

Thousands of Trump supporters surrounded the McDonald's restaurant as Trump spent the afternoon working as a fry cook after accusing Harris of lying about working at the fast food restaurant.

“I’ve now worked 15 minutes longer than Kamala at McDonald’s,” Trump said through the drive-thru window as he handed out orders.

“I've wanted to do this my whole life. And now I'm going to do it because she didn't,” Trump continued.

Trump claimed he also spoke to McDonald's about Harris' claim that she worked at the fast food chain.

“She shouldn’t lie about it. McDonald's has confirmed four times that she never worked there. But we don't talk about that. It's a great business. It's a great country. And we will make America greater than ever before,” Trump said.

Trump donned an apron and cooked fries as he spoke to reporters about his phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, raising the minimum wage, working at McDonald's and even wishing Kamala Harris a happy birthday.

Fox News Digital's Brooke Singman accompanied Trump during his shift and said he was in great spirits and was actually cooking and giving customers their orders.

“I love McDonald's, I love jobs, I love seeing good jobs. And I think it's inappropriate for someone to point out that you're working everywhere. I think that was a big part of her resume, working at McDonald's,” Trump said.

Trump smiled and continued cooking fries and handing out orders to customers while praising the manager and promising to make America better if he were elected president again.

“Look how happy everyone is. They are happy because they want hope. You need hope and that's what we do, to give much more than the hope you will give. “We will take hope and make it back,” Trump said.

The owner of the Feasterville McDonald's shared a statement with Fox News Digital highlighting the importance of the former president's visit.

“As a small, independent business owner, it is a core value of my organization that we proudly open our doors to anyone who visits the Feasterville community. That's why I accepted former President Trump's request to experience the transformative work experience that one in eight Americans have.” “I had: a job at McDonald's,” said owner and operator Derek Giacomantonio.

“As a former crew member, I can attest that this job is more than just burgers and fries, but a meaningful path to opportunity. Local Pennsylvania franchisees like me are proud to create more than 25,000 jobs across the state, and it's an honor to showcase my restaurant and the incredible impact of the franchise business model here today,” Giacomantonio continued.

One of Trump's surprised drive-thru customers was a woman originally from Brazil who pleaded with the former president to fix the United States and not let it become like her home country.

“Oh my God, oh my God,” the driver shouts in a video posted by Margo Martin, Trump’s deputy communications director, as she realizes Trump is handing out her order.

“Look at all the fake news over there,” Trump pointed to the drive-thru window.

“You can take this, right?” the driver asks as she hands Trump the payment.

“You know those are compliments from Trump, okay?” He answers and hands the driver their order.

“Yes, thanks. Mr. President, please do not allow the United States to become Brazil, my homeland Brazil,” the driver pleads.

“We're going to do better than ever, OK?” Trump says, shaking her hand as he continues to greet the crowd through the drive-thru window.

Harris-Walz 2024 spokesman Joseph Costello released a statement following Trump's chef shift claiming, “Trump doesn't understand what it's like to work for a living.”

“Today, Donald Trump demonstrated exactly what we would see in a second Trump term: the exploitation of working people for his personal gain. Trump doesn’t understand what it’s like to work for a living, no matter how many staged photo ops he does,” and his entire second-term plan is to give himself, his wealthy friends, and giant corporations another massive tax cut “, says the statement. “Vice President Harris, on the other hand, has a track record of standing up for workers and taking on bad actors ripping people off, and she will do the same thing as the president.”

With just 15 days until Election Day, Trump is in Pennsylvania to campaign at a town hall in Lancaster after his visit to McDonald's on Sunday. Trump will then travel to Pittsburgh on Sunday evening for the Steelers-Jets NFL game.
