Trump speaks out about migrants, claiming they have 'bad genes'

I don't want to alarm anyone unduly, but the Republican candidate for President of the United States said something in public that hits the triad of lie, madness, and historically outrageous. It is an argument beyond the reach of most politicians and all decent people around the world. He chatted with Hugh Hewitt, but even that is no excuse. We come to the interview in question. But first, a few preliminary weirdnesses:

(Kamala Harris) wants to go into government housing. She wants to get into state nutrition, she wants to feed people. She wants to feed people from the state. She wants to join a communist party system. If you look at the things she suggests, they are so far out that she has no idea.

And then, the harmful vintage, approx 1936:

How about allowing entry across an open border to people 13,000 of whom were murderers, many of whom murdered far more than one person, and who now live happily in the United States? You know, now a murderer, I think it's in their genes, and we have a lot of bad genes in our country right now.

The former president* has been crazy about the topic of genes for a long time. (This was apparently true for his old man, too.) Not that he knows everything about genetics except what it takes to go broke with the ponies, but he was chattering about his own superior genes long before he ran for president. But after already speaking in this campaign about migrants “poisoning the blood of our country,” he is marching toward Nuremberg with alarming speed. There is poison and there is poison.
