Tua Tagovailoa should shine in return

The NFL season has finally progressed to the point where we can draw on a large amount of data to make informed betting tips for our player props.

We predicted the playing time and role before the last few weeks, but at this point everyone should be on the same level.

Things haven't been going particularly well up to this point, sitting at 10-13 points this season while losing 2.7 units this season.

Things will change soon, hopefully starting this weekend with our four player props and tips for Week 8.

NFL Player Props of Week 8

Tua Tagovailoa Over 30.5 pass attempts (-120, BetMGM)

Guess who's back!

The return of Tua Tagovailoa is a huge boon for anyone invested in Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill.

The Dolphins offense should look much better this week against a poor Cardinals defense.

Betting on the NFL?

Tagovailoa completed more than 30.5 pass attempts in 11 of 17 regular-season games last season and was on pace to get over that before getting injured in Week 2 against the Bills.

He exceeded that prediction in Week 1 against the Jaguars and has a 65 percent shooting percentage since the start of last season.

Even after an injury, I support Tagovailoa proving his mettle for Miami.

CJ Stroud Over 12.5 Rushing Yards (-110) | 25+ (+380, ESPN BET)

CJ Stroud has been over that number in three of his last four games and could have a chance to further surpass that number in future games.

Earlier this year, we hit Brock Purdy's rushing yards when his weapons were down and he was injured.

The same thing could happen if Nico Collins is out, as Tank Dell looked goosebumps against the Packers last week in what was supposed to be an expanded role.

Regardless, the small side of this line should be easy to reach and 25+ offers great value, a line he has hit once in his last three games.

Cedric Tillman Over 39.5 receiving yards (-110, DraftKings) | 100+ (12/1, Bet365)

Jameis Winston is now the Browns quarterback and one thing is for sure: someone will be a big beneficiary.

It could be starter Jerry Jeudy, but I'm picking up-and-coming receiver Cedric Tillman, who played outstanding last week snagging passes from Winston.

Tillman scored three goals (two catches) on Winston's 11 throws while playing pick-up duty behind Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Tillman appeared to be extremely efficient and is an excellent deep ball threat for Winston, who loves to play off his offense.

Why you should trust New York Post Betting

Erich Richter is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt, but he has a black belt in MMA betting. During football season, he made huge profits in the player prop market during his final two seasons at The Post. Although he is constantly betting on distance, his return on investment since 2022 is 30.15 percent.
