Tyreek Hill posts cryptic message after Chiefs trade for All-Pro wide receiver

The Kansas City Chiefs shocked the NFL world when they acquired All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in a trade with the Tennessee Titans early Wednesday morning.

The Chiefs sent back a conditional fourth-round pick and now have one of the best wide receivers of this generation to help them in their attempt to make three-pointers.

While the trade sent shockwaves throughout the NFL, it led to a very interesting social media post from a former Chiefs All-Pro wide receiver.

Tyreek Hill, who currently plays for the Miami Dolphins after spending six years with the Chiefs, posted a very interesting message on social media on Wednesday morning: “huh.”

It's obviously unclear what Hill is referring to, but the timing of the Chiefs' acquisition is certainly interesting.

Hill spent six successful seasons with Kansas City, making a maximum of six Pro Bowls and three All-Pro First Teams. Hill had 479 receptions for 6,630 yards and 56 touchdowns and won a Super Bowl alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Hill was then surprisingly traded to the Dolphins before the 2022 season. While he continued his personal success and had the best two seasons of his career, he was unable to enjoy the same team success. Hill had 119 receptions for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022 and 119 receptions for a career-high 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2023, but the Dolphins have not won a playoff game.

On the other hand, the Chiefs have won two straight Super Bowl titles and are now looking to become the first team ever to win three Super Bowls in a row. Hopkins will only help.

The Chiefs are the only undefeated team in the NFL entering Week 8 with a 6-0 record. Conversely, the Dolphins have struggled since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Week 2 and are now 2-4 entering Week 8.

Tagovailoa is expected to return this week, which should help the Dolphins get their season back on track. However, they will need to get things sorted out quickly if they want to compete in a busy AFC.

The Dolphins play the Arizona Cardinals this week, a must-win game for Miami. After Arizona, the Dolphins have a huge division battle against the first-place Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins don't want to get into this duel with a score of 2:5.

The Chiefs play the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend and hope to have Hopkins on the field to make his team debut.
