Freddie Freeman has done it again.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star hit another home run, his fourth in as many World Series games, against the New York Yankees. The first-inning home run also marked the sixth consecutive World Series game with a home run, dating back to the 2021 World Series when he played with the Atlanta Braves. No player had ever hit a home run in six consecutive World Series games.

Freeman's home run gave Los Angeles an early 2-0 lead.

With his home run on Tuesday, Freeman became the only player to hit home runs in six consecutive World Series games. On Monday he equaled the record set by George Springer with the Houston Astros.

Freeman's first home run of the Series came in Game 1 when he hit a walk-off grand slam to give the Dodgers a 6-3 victory in extra innings.

His home run in Game 2 gave Los Angeles a three-run lead, which was ultimately enough to escape with another win. In Game 3 on Monday, Freeman hit a home run in the first inning to put the Dodgers' offense on its way to a 4-2 victory.

While a lot can still happen, Freeman appears to be well on his way to his second World Series title and his first World Series MVP. He has six hits, four home runs and nine RBI, making him by far the Dodgers' most productive player in the series.

Freeman performed decently in the NLDS and NLCS, recording seven hits and one RBI in eight games, but improved greatly in the World Series and could be the reason the Dodgers beat the Yankees cleanly.
